The resident hedgehog must be in that bed! A couple of others have been nibbled in another bed. That's a fairly new hosta. @RoddersUK has a gorgeous one in his garden photo.

Hi, I don't know how DIY you are or if you know someone who is, personally I'd just use an SDS drill to remove the concrete to the front of the old fence post to make a bit more of a gap to plant...

Thanks, considering we only have 3 volunteers ages 72, 70 and me the whippa snapper at 66 it takes a lot just keeping on top of the weeds so managing to get some veg in the beds and hanging basket...
