    Hello and thank you for the replies. It looks to me that the Suttons weed sweeper is a good way to go as it is inexpensive, doesn't need paraffin or gas with risk of self burns or other accidents...

    What could be affecting leaves of plants across my garden?

    My guess was going going to be hail as well. It appears to be on far too many different types of plants to be disease or even insect attack.
