I once read advice to gently peel away the outer petals of any balled roses to help it open? I haven’t tried it myself.

How can I make my Salvias bushier?
Thank you for all of your replies, I will give them a 'chop' today, I was hesitant as to when to do it. Alas, @Jess91 my Nachtvlinders never seem to get strong woody stems like my other varieties.

Wow, a wonderful outing. Love those pots. I have one question though ... do you have a sidecar now?
