What's buzzing or flying near you 2025 ?
@pete Coming from Siberia for a milder winter they will enjoy our 'cold' weather.Unbelievably at 4c a single Wall Lizard was on the south wall of Durlston Castle in the freezing wind and weak sun.

I've never thought of freezing them, I guess that would work but my freezer is pretty full, and there would be me opening a new can and not finding the frozen ones until I put the new ones in the...

Also the real pain with frozen stuff is you have to plan hours ahead, to get it thawed...

Looking for a better solution than tap water
I sometimes water my plants with nettle tea, admittedly not house plants. Now if a plant can survive a flourish on something that stinks like that, containing god knows what, I think they can...

How about putting it somewhere that is very visible to them but not constantly in your line of site and planting a few fake vines over the edges of the thing to make it look like they are growing...
