Malus 'Rudolph' : Old Fruits
If it were mine I’d remove the old fruit. You aren’t going to eat it and it will just be a hiding place for fungus and pests.

Advice on raised beds please
When I grew flowers for my daughter's wedding I used 2m x 1m. I had clay soil and I mixed bought compost into it. It was in my vegetable garden and I had Love in a Mist for years afterwards!
