    We had sun this afternoon to 21c but a terribly nasty wind which will be from the full north later and even gustier quite horrid actually so we will stay in by the fire, a half hour fresh air...

    Thanks @Plantminded I will definitely do that. I am also not sure whether to give them a good comb or whether they need pruning. I will probably do the former for now and research the latter....

    I've seen running events advertised at various race courses some including the jumps, quite sure some people will compete in fancy dress, getting drunk normally happens after the running is over.
