I’ve removed my feeders now. A few puzzled visitors this morning but they should soon get back to their normal diet as the garden starts to offer more food. There is no shortage of worms at the moment so the blackbirds will be happy.

Bury squash stems when pricking out?
Yeah I bury them a bit if they've stretched. Not as deep as you would with tomatoes though, squash stems are thicker and seem more prone to rotting if you go too far. Just enough to steady them up.
