What a shame I don’t grow veggies, @burnie, I’d have lots of questions for you! Unfortunately, a lot of our garden is in shade, and very little of it is flat. Most of my gardening seems to consist of cutting things back or down, and working towards as easy care as possible.

Thanks John, We've just about recovered and are spending a lazy week walking, meeting up with friends, going out in the evenings and eating a good variety of foreign foods. The lawn is recovering as well. If we hadn't used the lawn protectors around the plant stalls it would have been terrible.
