Thanks John, We've just about recovered and are spending a lazy week walking, meeting up with friends, going out in the evenings and eating a good variety of foreign foods. The lawn is recovering as well. If we hadn't used the lawn protectors around the plant stalls it would have been terrible.

Not Harrogate .... is anyone going to the Malvern Autumn Show next weekend ? I'm going on the Saturday, the spring aswell as this one are great shows and tremendous value for money. It's a long and tiring day but worth every part of it :D

Sadly, Shiney, your place is in the opposite direction to where we're going, so we can't even do a detour en route. I'd have loved to do that, having had a look at your thread with the photos. Still, as you say, there could well be some nice plant sales going on in Devon whilst we are there. ...
