I have grown those Pelargoniums and Bedding Begonias from seed. They need warmth and light and have to be sown quite early as they are slow to get going, especially the begonias.The half hardy perennial Pelargoniums are perennial if you dig them up and overwinter them in a cool room indoors....

Looking at your pics. I have noticed lengths of cable on a wall and on the ground which I assume are power or irrigation hoses. That should tell you your garden needs a lot of regular watering to keep the plants alive. Your handy man will have a job to keep everything watered enough to keep them...

Lovely, I've only just found this. This forum is divided into so many sections it's rather confusing.

Mission accomplished, it took longer than I expected as I had to dismantle part of the wall to get at the roots of the lilac. I had to make a great effort to ensure that the wall looked as rough as it did before to blend in with the rest of it.

I'm hoping it will. It can stay as long as it likes. Short lived perennial treated as a biennial, apparently.
