Lovely to have those so early in the year. They don't start appearing until late April/early May here, and are still in flower in early June in many areas. I've seen some Spanish ones starting to appear though, but just foliage.

I am liking the erythroniums at the moment.Is it just me or is this spring rushing by fast?

Here is another view of the bed from opposite side, photo was on 24 March and as can be seen the bed is already almost fully out of the house shadow, so is a full sun location between April to Oct.Taking the point on low level planting, viewed from the house anything up to about 600mm tall...

Thanks @Sheal I thought I would go there before the winter visiting birds departed, after they have gone it will be full of Terns prompting another visit.

Not only did we get a pink sky last night we also got a pink rainbow. Very lucky as it only lasted a few moments.

@Sarah100! Yes, after a cold spring at last things, as you say, are moving again!Our balcony is looking good now after so many months of looking barren! The red and the pink Petunias are flowering wonderfully, their lovely colours and profusion of flowers have completely transformed it!
