Yes we have hard floors in the rest of the downstairs, he loves to slide on his paws on the tiled conservatory floor when chasing a ball, but no nail sounds on tiles only on the laminate in the hall.

Don't know why cats do what they do, ours (if there is an oportunity) will shred and lick tissues!!

i love having our two with me when gardening they like to follow you around, really close, and as soon as you pause in the one spot for a moment you can guarantee one or both will be sitting on your feet thankfully they're not ones to be destructive in any way (digging ect)....although Freddy...

Its a battle.. we put the throw over the new chairs just in case he fancied them and then we put the cushion on it to try and keep him off..! we cant win with them can we? robert

In a similar vane but not the happiest moment for the wife, Winnie our Labrador gave me a rude awakening this morning. She had eaten the lovely cherry cake the wife had baked yesterday for today's tea and is now slowly digesting the evidence.

After Oscar we had Sarafi who lived four doors away but spent most of his time with us when we were around. Now that he has gone we get visits from Ollie who is a bit aloof but getting friendlier.

I don't think the programme got enough money to continue training the dogs as it was not 100% fool proof, but it certainly looked convincing to me!

Oh, sorry, Liz, just saw this after my trauma yesterday/this morning.Tatty cat! Put that paw out for a slap!On the other hand, mine aren't interested in my Cymbidium (perhaps a blessing) but somehow my bud stalks (very garden tech talk there) died off and now I have lots of new shoots...

He's lovely - think you're right about not introducing a dog at his age too. If nothing else there'd be huge sulks.

I already share my half of the bed with one big black one ( :eek: ) and two growing little 'uns, so if this one joined in, I'm afraid t'other half would have to move out .... :D :D :D
