00000000000000000000000000016265Hello everyoneI sometimes sit here after a hard day in the garden and think to myself what on earth have I done taking on such a huge garden and being .....but a novice!!I stumbled upon this forum whilst trying to get help with what is weed and what is flower and having followed it for a few days I'm so impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of its members..... So here I am all signed upWell, what can I say about the garden other than its been left for over two years. I've spent most of the time from October to now clearing out the overgrown mess and to be honest not a clue what I was doing, alas so many things that I chopped, pruned and salvaged are now recovering..... Not sure sadly of how many I may have accidentally dug up between the mamouth of weeds, fallen trees and overgrown shrubs.I do believe that once upon a time this must have been a beautiful gardenI'm so proud of myself as I've even managed to grow my own veg from seed, first time ever... After a lot of reading on 'how to do' ...I must add.My hanging baskets are coming along beautifully as are my tubs at least I know how to do themI just have no idea of what to put into the ground, I've spent hours pondering around various garden centres, looking at some wonderful shrubs and flowers...and yet I'm still clueless as to put what....where! The garden is so green it needs lots of colour to brighten it up so hopefully having now joined a great forum ...I will be able to sorce some great advice..... Can't wait.....
