    Afternoon all :-)

I've abandoned the above forum since the developers ruined it a couple of weeks ago - anyone else here from there?

I've been gardening for forty-odd years but I only have a little yard of my own at the moment. I help to look after a number of different gardens, and my main expertise is in growng fruit & veg. I try to grow food organically, and am very keen on compost!

When I'm not gardening I'm fixing my small yacht in the hope of finally going sailing in it, and am in the middle of making tables out of pallets for a community cafe.

Ah well, it's a good bunch of friendly and knowledgeable people there too.
However, two or three weeks ago the GW web team changed a perfectly good forum - in fact the best and friendliest I've ever been on. They messed about with the layout, stopped some of the features from working, made it harder to read, included far too much white (well, actually pale pink) space so it needed loads of scrolling... need I go on? To be fair, they're trying to fix it, but it wasn't broken in the first place.

            Welcome to the forum!

I am a perennial newbie at growing vegetables. With the exception of hot peppers and tomatoes which I grow every year, I tend to play at growing different ones and different varieties. First year grower of Kelsae Onions, I'm going for the most honest award :snorky:

If you're a perennial newbie does that mean that you grow new perennials ? :rolleyespink:

I used to be a member on there, but I didn't find it that friendly tbh.

                  Welcome!

I thought it was pretty good tbh, and so did most of the users - but clearly someone in an office somewhere decided it wasn't. :wallbanging:
