      Wow !!!

Thank you all, folks! My dad was a very good amateur photographer, but he looked to my brother to follow in his footsteps, rather than me. So great to have people enjoy my photo.
      :yay:

It is lovely to get so much support for a beautiful image that I walk past every morning. It is such a classically Belgian field, with the house on the end. The middle house of a terrace, waiting for the rest of the street to come along....

Congratulations Sian! :dbgrtmb: A lovely picture of summer which we haven't seen to much of this year, sadly.

Well done to Shiney, David and everyone that entered the competition. :)

At the moment me thinks Sian's theme for September is going to be a bit of a challenge.

Thank you guys! I hope my theme won't be too challenging!

I've been a little quiet this weekend as we had friends down from the Netherlands, to help us paint our lounge ( approx 100 square metres of surface, including a 3 metre high wall/ceiling). The theme was inspired by a spider masquerading as a wasp - it made me think how often things pretend to be something else, be it insects, weeds, flowers with insect-markings.... They are all around us....

Reminds me when my friend and I went shooting rabbits.....he used to say 'make a noise like a lettuce'.
