    Good morning all my friends have a lovely Sunday ,Sunday lunch is all prepared for the family,had my porridge and raspberries,will take Penny out for her morning walk,I will have to get a new laptop soon as this one is 7 years old at the moment,and on its last legs,I have been looking for a few weeks but the price of them is astronomical and I have to watch my budget;)
    anyway have a good one and stay safe:smile:

      Woo, sorry to hear your laptop is giving trouble. I suppose they're not as easy to adjust/update/repair as desktops. :scratch: My desktop will be going for its annual checkup, clean and tidy up. We were first given it when Windows 98 was fairly new :old: and has had two new hard drives, a new fan and increased memory, plus having a DVD drive fitted and a new screen :). Probably similar to me still having my original garden fork apart from two new handles and one set of tines. :snork:

      The quiz went very well and, embarrassingly, Mrs Shiney's team was the clear winner.

      Today will be gardening day.

          Only about 14f here at the moment but sitting inside having a cuppa, it doesn't bother me :heehee:

          On the weekends our electricity is less expensive so I must get on with cleaning and laundry and baking as it is too costly to do these things during the day during the week. stupid smart meter....

          I do enjoy our hour or so on a Sunday afternoon at the pub. I treat it as a kind of reward for getting chores done.:pathd:

                    Seems that everyone here has frost in their garden. Maybe we have it too but I can't tell if there is some on our snow or not :scratch:

                    I keep the house at early spring daytime temperatures - 72f - so as long as I stay in, I'm quite comfy :biggrin:

                        Just got an email that another cousin has died. He had a good innings and was 95.

                        I've arranged a get together in the summer, at Shineyland, of cousins to meet up with a 95(?) year old cousin who will be visiting from the U.S. So far we have had acceptances from 20 of them. :blue thumb: I'll be doing dinner and supper for them so I'm already planning what to do.

                        It rained during the night but is clearing up now. So I might get some gardening done before bridge.

                          Good morning.....I've missed you all. I've been spending a lot of time on the hen forum which I admin for, we've had a lot of people on there causing trouble, but hopefully we have weeded out the idiots & are now left with lots of genuine nice people :dbgrtmb: I honestly don't understand why people think they have the right to get on a forum & cause trouble or be dam right nasty! :nonofinger:

                          I've not done any gardening at all, work has been taking up a lot of my time too, hopefully by the end of the month this will have started to ease off a bit.

                          My hens are of course still on lockdown :yikes:, they are not enjoying being locked in, I can't wait to open the run door & let them free range.

                          Youngest brother being an absolute so & so :gaah:i really am at my wits end with him :mad:, I've decided not to speak to him for now because I don't want us to fall out :paladin:. Favourite brother is doing really well after his heart op, I'm really pleased to see my old boy back! We went out for dinner at the weekend which was lovely, he's on top form :yay:.

                          I hope you are all keeping well? I will catch up again very soon
