Noticed quite a few have developed this recently.

Could this be down to the recent low temperatures or over watering where the roofs been leaking ? TIA :)

If I had a red tinge, I’d have it looked at.

On seedlings I'd say it was sunburn, if it was the summer.

I'm guessing its down to low temps and lack of water, I hope.
If they feel soft and shrivelled then so much the better if they have no heating.

Funny you should mention this because I noticed a red tinge on my London Pride yesterday. It is a variegated one, been kept outside so no lack of water after *this* winter  I just thought it was blushing at the thought of Spring being around the corner :heehee:

It times like these that I don't regret not continuing to try to beat our climate and grow somewhat tender plants however appealing they may be. There are so many gorgeous plants which are hardy it is a bit conkers/often causes disappointment to try too many tender things with a climate that can be brutal. I used to try quite a few often as I didn't have the knowledge but now apart from a few exceptions I stick to tried and tested! I read the forecast is to be very very cold well down into the South of England so I hope you don't have too many losses as many plants will have started into growth and consequently at risk.
