    please could someone help me identify this monstrous thing amidst my wild flowers?

    I’ve been nurturing it buts it’s probably just a very happy weed!!

    Looks a bit like Amaranthus to me.
    Leave it and see what it does.

          Looks like Amaranthus Tricolor. It's used as a vegetable in Asia, either cooked like cabbage or raw in salads.

          I'm not advising you eat it unless you can get it positively identified.

            Thank you so much for your help!! It’s been bugging me for ages. I moved into this house in January so have no idea what’s planted in the garden!

              It's not planted as such, it has self seeded from plants that were grown in previous years.
