Solved Weed or plant?

    please could someone help me identify this monstrous thing amidst my wild flowers?

    I’ve been nurturing it buts it’s probably just a very happy weed!!

          Looks like Amaranthus Tricolor. It's used as a vegetable in Asia, either cooked like cabbage or raw in salads.

          I'm not advising you eat it unless you can get it positively identified.

              It's not planted as such, it has self seeded from plants that were grown in previous years.
