Thinking of a visit to Norfolk as they should be turning up now, and pupping soon Horsey Beach - 2018 All You Need to Know Before You Go (with Photos) - Horsey, England | TripAdvisor

A bit cold this time of year for pitching a tent at an open all year campsite, and we're running out of online booking accounts where if I recommend a 'friend' such as Mrs Scrungee, or she recommends me, we each get £15 back, which normally makes B&B as cheap as camping.

B&B prices in Norfolk seem rather expensive, but I've got a £15 off a night's B&B offer if I book by the end of this month, so thinking that a trip in early December should provide some seal pup photo opportunities.

    Is that a good time?

It's a "voluntary closure". There's always some idiots who'll get too close. Last school half-term hols I was at an RSPB reserve and some visitors were walking right out to the water's edge and putting up all the birds, further along a couple were picnicking on the beach whilst their kids threw stones at the birds.

I only need to get within 200 feet to take pics like the one below from that article.
