Probably way out but I'd say Camellia. If the petals nearby belong to the same plant, perhaps sasanqua.

If the fuchsia flowers are on the next plant along, could it be eleagnus ebbingii?

Elaeagnus x ebbingei leaves are shiny /waxy with edges that are nor serrated.
I thought the leaves belonged to the Fuchsia flower..but as asked before....Am I seeing things?

I`m pretty sure that must be Fuchsia denticulata (synonym - serratifolia) :) @MAJ

Even enlarging the pics as much as I can I cannot see enough detail on that flower to attempt to take it further.
Fuchsia denticulata ..not one that I know...but www says flowers have long tubular flowers and apparently has a bushy, upright habit.

Quote.....Fuchsia 'Denticulata' has attractive medium-sized single flowers. The tube and sepals are pink tipped green while the corolla is a complementary bright red. This fuchsia has a bushy, upright habit."

The second photo is probably the best. The leaf and leaf stalk IMO suggest the plant to be a Fuchsia. The growth pattern tends to suggest a trailing or in todays terms, a basket type.

Fuchsias and Roses in particular have over the years given rise to so many variations that in the absence of more detailed information, attempts at naming it are pure guesswork.

I would be inclined to carefully dig around it. Why? In the past I have often stood pots and baskets around the garden then overlooked the odd one when actually planting out. This certainly looks good and strong. Who knows....perhaps it is mislaid basket and better still. The label might still be legible.

I think we need better photos, close ups of flowers should they be from the plant in question.
Personally I'm struggling to see fuschia flowers apart from a few on the far right hand side of pic 1.
If it was a fuchsia I would have expected them to be pretty much distributed over the plant.

Hi all! Sorry for the delay in replying. Since I posted this, I have discovered it is indeed a Fuchsia! Hurrah! Thanks all for your help.

I think it was just the last couple of flowers, as there were none on it today.
