T&M and Van Meuwen Constant Ads

Hi,

Don't know why but for the last month plus have been getting at least one mail a day from both T&M and VM.

I keep using their Unsubscribe button which acknowledges the request but the mails still keep coming.

Seems todays mail also says they are now going to do profiled /targeted ad etc which need to be opted out of.

Have sent them both ( though now the same company) mails asking to stop such mails.

Anyone else feel they have come on too strong - certainly will not be ordering from either again until they stop this spam.

 

I unsubscribed years ago. It worked for me.

 

I get them from T&M and although I don't buy plants off them I've just had a good offer on seeds off one of their "spam" emails.( get 5 for the price of 4 and pay no p+p ). So I wouldn't unsubscribe.

 

I don't get any ads, but I regularly get T & M catalogues through my door.

I've now an arrangement with them that if there's a "free" offer when you buy something in the catalogue, if you buy it on-line instead, you still get the free item. When I queried it by e-mail when I didn't at first, some numpty replied saying they "weren't obliged" to give it to me if I didn't quote the code in the catalogue. I replied, neither was I "obliged" to buy anything else from them again if they didn't.

 

Just put the empty order form in the envelope and post it back to them. The postal and admin charge per empty will soon stop it.

 

The free offers are the same on line and in a catalogue with Parkers DHR.
plus they're better plants than T&M.

 

I quite like sending junk mail back, normally I put one companies junk mail in another's free post envelope, and vice versa, then stick it in the post.

Just like the idea that they are not the only ones who can send out junk mail, plus it keeps Royal Mail in a job.

 

I do that as well! Although TBF, I don't get much junk mail at this address. At my last address, I had loads! I think the person who lived there before me must have signed up for everything going.
