I thought you might like to see the state of the garden over the last two months after me being allowed by the local Witch Doctor to have an amble around and do some light work. The garden has basically looked after itself due to the main planting being Hardy Perennials, but's it's nice to delve into the borders and do a little of this and that.

@ARMANDII , it's always a great pleasure to have a look around your garden. It's absolutely stunning.
A perfect place where everything just grows and flowers at its own pace , and allowed to go wherever it wants to, nothing manicured or shaped to within an inch of its life.

PS...... don't forget to post some piccys of my favourites......your fabulous Irises.

Love it ... always has been on the top of my list of favourite gardens, so welcoming and 'secretive' in a natural way. A true inspiration.

Thanks all:love30:. I just wanted to show that even after a long period of none maintenance in my over planted chaotic cottage style garden it can be brought back into line....so to speak. Of course this year, as I posted earlier, all the shrubs, plants etc, seem to have exploded in growth and size and flowering...........gardens do pay you back with colour, scents, and make you smile.

When not "supervising me" in the garden, Shiney, sitting by me on the patio while I'm "contemplating" Life with a Mug of Tea:coffee::heehee:, Jenny assumes the position of "God, that was hard work" and is ready for a session of gentle snoring:snooze::cat-kittyandsmiley:

@ARMANDII , in post #8, what’s the plant in the fourth picture down? It looks very similar to something I have, but forget the name of

The 4th image down, Freddy, is the red variety of Monarda otherwise known as Bergamot. It's a top plant for attracting Bees, etc., and one of my favourite plants.:love30::thumbsup::)
