@Victoria ,..that is a beautiful bunch Victoria,..in both images the contrast in colour of the fading roses against the newer blooms really makes your 'Sunseeker' a very beautiful showy rose.

Every year i have to really think on when to cut back my Delphiniums,..if i wait until they have fully stopped producing blooms then there isn't enough time in the season to have them start growing again and produce another burst of blooms.

Or do i cut them back while they blooming but are almost finished blooming,..in the hope there is time for another growth and burst of blooms.

How they have grown since i cut them back in the image below,..but not for the hope of another burst of blooms,..its for cuttings,..as the cuttings taken now will harden over the remainder of Summer and Autumn and go through a natural stratification period,..then bloom next year.

I find taking cuttings now is best as explained above,..rather than take cuttings next Spring from young stems that may well have being a stem that would have produced a bloom.

              The new growth now.

I must have missed something here  Any old how, I am pleased you are alive and well as I had noticed your absence.

Blooms beautiful as always and I see there are some raindrops on them. Please stop hogging the rain! :nonofinger:

Thanks Sheal,..i was not expecting such good news and was prepared for the worse,..hopefully it was a one off attack down to the pressure on the chest during the intense reflux bout.

Thankfully not another attack though since last April every time i got a stab of pain in my chest i thought here we go again,..that was the mindset and i wasn't worried as i have my house in order as they say,..my Solicitor arrived in April and made out my new will on the bonnet of my car,..seeing they were not allowed to enter a house due to the Virus,..mentioning the Virus,..only one death in the past few days though the total now is 1.778,..that includes 4 Cities.
