Crafters’ corner 2020

Looking good Logan.

Made a start on the wheelie table thingy I got for £15 from a charity shop. Rust converted and cleaned up the wheels, then sanded using an 80grit first then a 120 grit and had filled a few bits. Cleaned it down and then painted the green bits....its a primer and colour in one. Just 12 hrs to wait til I can do the next coat :(

Probably too many projects on the go if I'm honest ha ha.

Was painting this in my dressing gown earlier...the pink will definitely need many coats!

I know its quite bright, but it will go in my living room. I'm going to use my leftover expensive bluebellgray wallpaper and will get some glass sheet cut for the tray/table areas.



I didn't want to waste the wallpaper-so thought this would be a good use of leftovers.

 

Is that your living room? Very unique. I love all the colours but wouldn't want to wake up to it !

 

Ha yes it is, but it's only on one wall and weve got a big barn Ceiling that is white and the other walls that are the pale green which matches. The rest of the house is pretty neutral (except one of the guest bedrooms). I love it as the colours reminds me of the garden

 

It doesn't look too bright, when people say pink i always think of the candy pink.

 

you cant see the green walls behind the camera but you get the gist. It's only a small section but is lovely and cheerful

 

I like it! My favourite colours are green and purple. Great coordination with the cushions and throws as well. My rug would almost suit (that's a small one but have matching large one) ... we have plum coloured sofas.

... completely rearranged now but still red with red filing cabinet ...

 

@Victoria now that is what you call RED! ha ha, when I was 15 I dyed my hair that exact colour

I did mine Fire Engine Red when I was 20ish ... then two gals I worked with did theirs the same ... so I went back to my natural Strawberry Blonde!

 

Well it's pretty much finished. Just got to order the two pieces of either glass or perspex to sit on each shelf.
