Terrorising my bedroom window is this feathered squeaker calling out with some truly mighty lungs. I went for a walk to find him, at 2:30 am, and found him a good trot away singing like a hippo's chew toy!

Any idea what his or her surname is? Id love to send a FRIENDLY letter!

    Sorry, no idea :noidea:

We have plenty of noises from our garden denizens and I just say hello to them in the dark. I'm not sure they bother to answer me. :heehee:

I can hear it [had to turn the volume up a fair bit] but I've no idea what it is. Sorry.

I can’t hear it … but from your description could it be a female tawny owl calling to branching baby owls who’ve left the nest? It’s quite a piercing “kee-wick”

Just a black screen with a small white triangle with a cross through it for me.

            Did it sound like this?

I can hear it (on full volume). My guess is an owl of some sort.

I can't hear either recording. but we do get The Squeak coming by our window ... but I don't think he has wandered that far as he is a small cat! We do have Small Owls making noise in the wee hours though.

I played it to the Merlin app and that thinks it's a tawny owl.
