Following cats in boxes, off Facebook this morning ...

 

Yes, he's our first pedigree cat, having had several rescue cats previously. Each time we've gone through the pain of losing one we've sworn never to have another, but the house is just so empty so it never lasts. But Murphy will definitely be very difficult to replace.

 

@LunarSea, I used to have a Maine Coon called Murphy but a different colour. Sadly when he was about 18 months old he went out one day and never came back.
I now have two Selkirk Rex cats, Midnight and Truffles. They are indoor cats except in summer when they are allowed in the back garden under supervision. Midnight is the nosey one and this morning he went out of the front door when I was inspecting the snow - but he soon came back. Truffles would never dream of doing that.

 

Gary Bob and Maisy. My two ginger ninjas. They are brother and sister and were abandoned back in 2019. Maisy lost her tail in a car accident later that year but she manages without it.

 

Hello Ginger Bob and Maisy. I love Gingers, even if they are Ninjas. I had a little Ginger Tuxedo guy for only nine monhs who came to me out of the orchards and died from lung problems. He was such fun and I think of him often.

 

Had to show you cat lovers this. My new tee-shirt arrived yesterday. T'other Half bought my sister and me one each in the late 90s and I came across this last week on e-Bay and had to get it ...

I like it so much I have one coming in white ...

 

I once bought OH this cat t-shirt. He loved it (being a Kiss fan as well as a cat lover) but it was poor quality and the print soon started coming off in the wash.

 

I am a dreadful cyclist but when I lived in London cycling was the easiest way to get from A to B. My OH had a tee shirt printed up for me showing a big black bat flying across my back with the words “Keep Clear. Mad Old Bat”. One taxi driver was so taken by it he drove close up beside me and shouted out that he loved the message. I nearly fell off my bike in surprise.
