Loving your crochet work @Jenny namaste. I knit but would really love to learn how to crochet.
Superb @Penny_Forthem! Have you finished now or are you still tweaking?

I love your Corvid @Valley Gardener, very handsome!

I have hundreds of Welsh slates remaining from a roofing job years ago. I use some of them as plant markers, just paint the name - Lettuce....Carrots....whatever...at the top in acrylic, and over-varnish the writing. Saves buying and using plastic labels, and slates tend not to blow away or be dislodged by pigeons ( or Corvids )

How lovely @Tinkerton,no doubt they look far better than plastic. How do you cut it? Mine are all the same size which is a bit limited.

I don't cut it, @Valley Gardener, it's not easy at all. Someone else might know. A roofing slater would probably 'knapp' it, but you'd not get a straight edge, doing it that way. Luckily I've got all kinds of weird shapes and sizes in my slate pile, so a good old rummage usually gives me what I'm looking for, eventually!

I have been passing the time to the op on my broken arm, by daubing.
Will finish and polish it later

@Jenny namaste, did you have a pattern for your crocheted cardigan? It looks gorgeous, but I’d really have to have instructions to follow! Not confident at crochet and not much better at knitting!

IT is quite challenging but it's worth it
