Interesting spider

    He/ probably she builds a web in a very inconvenient place, rolls up a leaf gets in and waits.
    I'm going to put the plant in the ground soon so maybe he/ she will get some peace.

    Lucky you. I've certainly noticed a dearth of spiders ( inside and out ) this year.

      I am seeing plenty - not so many indoors but that's normal for the time of year. In the autumn the giant males will come out looking for the females. Outdoors all my plants are covered with webs - I found a poor grasshopper caught at the weekend, too late to save it. Luckily I have plenty of grasshoppers too.

      I spotted this scary specimen yesterday down by the pond. Thankfully the photo is an extreme close up and it was really quite small.
