Whats Your Weather Like 2025

It’s dark but can hear the rain pounding on the conservatory so it’s still coming down . Couldn’t resist yesterday bought 1 last box of Tulips! and I have a spare nice pot to plant them in . Oh the joys of gardening even though it’s raining .

 

9c not raining but we having heavy showers, also had a howl at that moon again as it was showing through the clouds

 

Rain, rain and more rain today but it's supposed to be the light stuff. Max 11c.

 

The heavy rain has gone past - there is quite a lot of grit on the door and window frames.

Currently dry and breezy. I think we may have sunny intervals. So a lot better than yesterday.

 

Sun is up and more or less clear sky (a bit of puffy cloud here and there), 12c (which we have been all night since midnight), going to high teens.

 

Sunny spells but rain expected by lunchtime.

 

I could hear very heavy rain overnight and gusts of wind. It’s pretty grim out there this morning too.

Proper rough old night 50mph wind and hammered it down with rain, more rain expected, 8 degrees so not too cold out there.
No snow

 

We're almost up to freezing The guessers say it will remain cloudy but so far are unproductive. They will start dumping snow around lunchtime.

 

For Monday we have a yellow weather warning for rain, + the online wind up people have put the words "danger to life" now if it was going to be that bad i would have thought it should be a Red weather warning, i'm now so worried!!

 

Its been mostly dry with some sunny spells but again no drying up going on.

I think we still have a hosepipe ban, not heard anything to the contrary.

Surely the usual summer, run round in panic, time is over now.
If they saved more of the rainfall instead of flushing it down the sewers, it would stop them pumping sewage into the sea whenever it rains.

 

These reports are published weekly about the drought status, I find them very interesting. I'm in Wessex, which is still in "Prolonged Dry Weather" status. Our reservoirs are now at normal but the ground water hasn't improved enough yet to move us out of drought 1a status.

Looking at that map I'm almost on the edge of normal and drought, surely it cant be both, its to do with how they manage it and where they get the water from, underground or surface.

All I know is its the usual winter swamp around here, as it is every year, and if they are not saving it its not my fault.
