    Hi Kristen,

I had a similar problem on the 6th May (it cleared up later) and notified Marley just in case it might happen to someone else. It hasn't occurred to me since. Maybe you should PM her as well.

Still on there for me - I did a Refresh etc. to make sure the page was freshly loaded.

I'll report back if it fixes itself when its no longer the final page in the thread

I've known this problem on another forum and the only way it was resolved (or overcome might be a better description), was by starting new threads as it could well be that you'll never be able to edit/delete any future posts on that thread ever again, which will be rather frustrating.

Have you posted another, editable post on that thread since the one(s) causing a problem?

Successfully added a new post and immediately edited it and deleted it.

Original post didn't gain an EDIT button during those steps I'm afraid :(

Nah, not to worry, its not important, just reporting it so you would know there was a possible issue. Agree! "Weird" :thumb:

Found a way to try to edit the message using the ID of the message, and got this message:

"The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 2880 minutes after you have posted."

Perhaps the "Non-Gardening Discussion" forum is set to 48-hours editing time limit?

      Yes, I'm also getting that:

And all my previous posts over 2 days old now appear un-editable.

Interesting. Well, it's set to give you indefinite editing rights on your own posts now. Okay?

        Thanks, that's got it sorted.

It would have been really frustrating if posting something like a advice/recipe/etc. and on realising a few days or more later that it was incorrect being unable to amend the OP, only being add an amendment that would perhaps be several posts later, or even worse over on the next page.
