    HELP !!

    Delphiniums, clustered in a group of three at a back of a border, or one off specimen plants dotted around in the middle ?

    for the looks: depends on your border and the type of delphiniums
    for the place they like best: i think they want a shady or moist(not wet) foot but some sun further up? am no expert on this ,though
    to be honest I am still experimenting with mine -where they grow best..and I will try it as above written this year

    Thats the conditions i have for them.
    They are the tall ones that can grow six feet. A bought three today, a Blue, a Reddy pink and a White and i planted them at the back in a group of three BUT i have room to have them dotted about individually in the same border.
    Not sure what would look best ??

    its tricky that you bought 3 different colours, but assuming they will send up hopefully more than one spike of flowers this year (and later years) and would therefore not look lost on their own you will be fine either way. You could also put two plants together (a dark and a bright shade for contrast) and set the 3rd plant further away

      I'm trying to get a few Black Knight but the darkest i've managed to get so far is the Guardian Blue.
