Well spotted... its kept in a pot and moves into the jungle hut you can see at the back (a big shed a former owner of our house built as a workshop, so its insulated and double glazed - a great place to overwinter borderline plants)

I know some have planted it outside but it's a bit risky. My Chamy Metallica would make a nice outdoor specimen but I'd never chance it.

You've got a lot of growth on the Spiders Web:dbgrtmb: . I have six new leaves on my newly planted Fatsia Jap Var and every one is GREEN.:frown: .

            Gaz - that's brilliant.

That's how a garden should be - total immersion and total escape. You could be anywhere in the world in there. :dbgrtmb:

I'm still waiting to see the Koi pond which could double as a swimming pool.

Sadly not hot enough. We do have a few more tender palms that come in for winter, but space for big plants is limited :)

If I see any Ravenala (travellers palms), on our hols (soon:yes:) I'll look for seeds
I grew one once at work but it outgrew the glasshouse and I chopped it down.
