Hello fellow forum members :blue thumb:

I've been lurking for a little while now and thought it was about time I signed up.

I have a large garden (1/4 acre) which I moved into 2 years ago. I'm making slow but steady progress despite knowing much about gardening :heehee: I take the attitude that plants have two choices in my garden: grow or not grow.

Because it is a large area (my previous garden was 36' x 30 ) I'm trying to do as much as possible, as cheaply as possible.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Hi Mum.......Good God, I haven't said that for a long time!!, welcome to Gardeners Corner:thumbsup::snork: Slow progress???, well to me that's the only way to do gardening. You won't get too many disappointments or back aches that way, plus it gives you time to think what you want in your garden and "out" of it.

Welcome to GC Mum. You have the same attitude to gardening as me, two choices, grow or not grow! There is no point in mollycoddling plants that aren't happy with their situation. :)

Hello and welcome to the forum:)

You've moved into your garden? I think I'm the same. I do sometimes call into the house though, but not usually for more than a few minutes at a time.

The most important "room" in the property. I try to stay out there as long and as often as I can Mum,
