I'm hesitating here, as most of my climbers this year are yet to flower:)
But a plant I have grown for years, Ipomoea indica, is a favourite of mine, its late flowering even in good years, August till frost usually, so only just coming into flower.

This is it scrambling up through the Campsis, it really is that strong. Aug 12 282.jpg

I have a couple of other Ipomoeas that came from the lottery mixture from Chilterns.

This one is growing up Passiflora alata.
          Aug 12 287.jpg

And another from the lottery mix, its an Ipomoea, but no signs of flowers

Cant leave out poor old P. "anastasia"

The only Clematis I've managed to keep alive in my garden. Macropetala 'Wesselton'. :)

Pete - where does Ipomea indica fit in. I see Ipomea tricolor and purpurea and then 'Grandpa Otts' etc. Are these all different, and is one any easier to grow than the others - ie requiring less heat?

              Passiflora 'anastasia' is glorious.

Peter, I. indica is a bit different in that you can grow it as a true half hardy perrenial.
I know some of the seed grown ones described as perrenial but I've never bothered to try overwintering them.
Not sure it needs less heat but it is a stronger plant than the seed grown ones, probably flowers a bit later, but goes on right until the first frost.
And it can be grown from cuttings.

                That's a Clem that I could be tempted by - it's a gem Sheal!

Pete - P.Victoria is rather stunning.

If you're interested Longk, I've just started my own production line with seed and hopefully cuttings shortly, but it'll be a good while yet. I'll let you know at a later point. :)

Got plenty of seeds from Nicotiana langsdorfii...............

It's a not too space greedy annual that blooms all summer long. Mixes well with just about any other colour too.
