excuse me, no where in your instructions did you say the first two and the last two had to be different. READ your lips. And it is a sentence, from some play.

Apologies, but unless they are different, a sentence cannot be made Redstar,
      Jenny
Has to have a subject, noun and verb.

Answer to No 1 is you can take the first letter from each word and put it on the end, and then read it backwards and it is the original word.

Shiney, I think that's sort of what I said, only you explained it much more clearly than me. :)
Do we get half a point each?

On the subject of palindromes, what is the longest palindrome in the English language?
(Clue - it can be used in the garden).

There are lots of palindromic sentences in the English language. I think someone has devised one with about 15,000 words but it doesn't really make much grammatical sense!

There are the old, recognised, ones of "Madam, I'm Adam", "Able was I ere I saw Elba" and "A man, a plan, a canal, Panama" and many others. But I don't know the one you're referring to

I'm having trouble posting again!!!!! I click on 'Post Reply' and nothing is happening on my screen. The post still stays unposted at the bottom. It may be posting on GC but not on my screen. Trying again, but I'm having too much trouble to bother to continue tonight! I may be back tomorrow to try looking at other threads.

            Correct Jazmine. :blue thumb:

Sorry Shiney, I should have been more specific. I was looking for the longest palindromic word in the English language.
