    This morning I purchased 4 roses from Wilkinson's they were only £3 each and I couldn't resist that price,only next year will tell if they are a good buy or not, I have potted them up in to John Innes No 3 and put them in the greenhouse:)

    1.National Trust/Hybrid tea/Red:dbgrtmb::)

    2.Ruby Hotel/Cannot locate this one at the moment/according to my database it doesn't exist:scratch:I love a good Rose mystery:loll:

    3.White Swan/Says its a floribunda on the box but it is definitely a Hybrid Tea:scratch:
    :heehee:

    4.Pink Perpetue/Large Flowered Climber:dbgrtmb::)

    And they are all produced in Poland for Wilkinsons:)

      Great bargain, woo!

      Can't wait until next year to see what results you get :dbgrtmb:

      My Wilko hebe's (lovingly labelled "dying") from September are doing really, really well - for 75p :)

      Other plants I've had from W's have been a tad disappointing, but definately worth experimenting with (from a beginners point of view).

      Best of British, woo :thumbsup:

            I saw some in our local Wilkos. Unusually for our branch of Wilkos, they looked quite healthy and I was tempted to buy a couple for the front garden.

              Woo, I think you're going to lose sleep over this rose. It looks like you'll have to wait until it blooms, how frustrating.

                    Oh dear, that is only going to confuse people/gardeners if W takes it upon themselves to choose to call it what they want :scratch:

                    Ah well, it was a bargain and I'm sure it will look beautiful in bloom: as the saying goes, "A rose by any other name still smells as sweet" :) (Blimey, who knew Shakespere had experience of Wilko's! )
