Why is everyone else's garden better than mine?

      Clueless - there are some very very beautiful gardens that we see posted here - but our own garden is who we are and you must be proud of what you have already achieved in your garden. Down my street there are some that are no doubt better and prettier than mine but I still love mine because it is what I alone have achieved. I plant things in the wrong place - I prune things wrong but do I care no - I learn from it.

      At the end of the day it is not what we have it is who we are.

        Quite right Grannie Annie, our gardens reflect the people, or should I say the gardeners we are. :)

          We don't need a seat to enjoy our gardens. I rarely sit out in mine, but I enjoy walking up and down in the morning, having a chat with the plants, seeing what's growing, tending to the plants needs and seeing what jobs need doing. I'd say you enjoy it more by getting up close and personal with the plants :)

            I must admit, there's one job (apart from picking veg, and tying things up where necessary) I do in the garden without wearing gloves. I've already done it this morning. It's only done for a very few weeks each year.

            Any guesses? :)
