I thought , maybe, this should be in the "Exotic" section, I saw it last night, and we were still in August.
I also seem to have come across two threads, "What's looking good in September", one posted by Zigs, today, and one by Kristen on Friday:dunno::biggrin:

Anyway I'll let you sort it all out.:blue thumb:

It has a scent, you know when you enter the greenhouse it is in flower, but not really pleasant, but at the same time, not offensive.

Hibiscus moscheutos is looking fairly exotic right now. Some flowers have been nearly 8" across.

Not pretty, but certainly 'exotic', Aristolochia trilobata

                Brugmansia sanguinea. Flowering nicely.

                    Loving the Cereus too!

What is the plant in the last photo to the right of the Bougie (the one with the pinnate leaves and maybe red flowers)?

I thought so. I've suffered chronic bud blast on mine. Still, it's less than a year old from seed. How do you overwinter yours?

Mine has suffered from RSM too. Not bad, but it means that I can't move it to the greenhouse.

I spray with abermectin for RSM, or westland plant rescue for ornamentals.

I overwintered in a cool greenhouse fairly dry at a minimum of about 4C, lost a lot of leaf but survived, I then cut back by a third this spring.
