Is there a way of uploading files from Dropbox or other cloud sharing facility?

Belay that, I found a way.

I have DB installed on the phone and desktop pc and set to sync. In this way, any photos I take with the phone are instantly available on PC so I can upload from there in normal fashion.

    Ain't technology wonderful!

Right hand click on a image in your Dropbox Public Folder, select Copy Pubic Link and paste the link (which will be copied onto your Clipboard) between IMG tags

I'm thinking of trying using a Wifi card in my camera connected to my tablet and with the camera located at distance and operated by radio remote control so I can see the shots as they are taken, with the pics saved into my Dropbox account using one of my Mifi's I use when out and about (you have to stay ahead of your kids these days, but it gets more and more difficult)

My original Drop Box was the box I dropped the apples into when I picked them. Now I have one of these new fangled computer Drop Box thingies that people keep putting things into! :heehee:

        ... worrying!!!!?

We used to store our own data on our own floppy disks. (We had overall control)
Then we progressed to storing our own data on CD's. (We had overall control)
Then, when we began storing a lot of data, we stored our own data on external hard drives. (We retained overall control)

        Now?

We are being encouraged to store *our* data, on a "cloud" (entrusting it to a 3rd party: no, wait - GIVING IT OVER to a 3rd party, for their safe keeping/scrutiny/monitoring?)

        Ain't technology: invasive! ;)

I've still got a floppy disk drive, albeit a USB one because I keep finding old bits of stuff that need updating onto new media.
