                  I found a tortoiseshell butterfly in my bedroom today, he's early!

                    Two Red Kites in my apple tree today

                    One flew away, but the other stayed for me to take this. Off to see a neighbour (RSPB, BTO and local birdie club) about that number 180.

                          Local/neighbour BTO, RSPB, Birdie Club member has never seen a Red Kite wing tag around here, despite there being loads of them.

                          I always see them when fishing in the Rutland area. A couple of years ago when fishing at a lake right out in the sticks a Red Kite came down and sat on a fence post about 20' away from me and started chuntering to itself......one of the joys of fishing.:hapydancsmil:
