Woo...You sound like you're going to have a busy day too.....I like days like that though when you can get out there and get cracking

Moyra...Have you tried the old smelling salts? they seemed to be the only thing to clear my sinuses...cleared my eye and ears too

I hope everyone is 'de lurgie' and feeling much better

I'm chomping at the bit to get started out there,first job is to give the greenhouse a good clean inside and out,I best not take too much moss off it though or it's liable to fall to bits.I must find a better way to store my plant pots too,they're all stacked fairly neatly but I don't want any nooks and crannies for the mice to take up residence.I could do with Sarafi to keep them in check...I also need to make sure I replace the indoor swimming pool for Freda my friendly GH frog

Sunshine and showers here today.

Poor little Tiffy isn't well so we had to pop her to the vets this morning. They think it's a gastric infection so the injections kick in soon and she starts feeling better. Horrible seeing my little old girl in pain.

Good luck with craft fair Shiney, hope it's a great success.

Pleased the man-flu is shifting FC. The lingering cough gets very irritating though so hope that clears up soon as well.

Have fun with the various shopping expeditions AB.

Ooh, new walking boots 'M', I could do with a pair of those too. Hate going round the shops though but must make the effort sometime soon.

I got the outside of the GH cleaned yesterday but then got distracted moving and emptying the summer containers,then cleaning the chooks out,by the time I'd finished the day had goneso today I'm definitely getting the inside done no matter what Oooo and planting some Roses and clearing one of the borders annnd my list is getting longer

It's a bit misty and damp this morning but we're all set for some sunshine today

The sun is shining today but it's forecast for more rain by afternoon

Eve - sorry to hear Tiffy is unwell. I do know that in our area there is a dog version of gastro virus doing the rounds and it's a nasty little bug. Speedy recovery wishes for Tiffy and a gentle hug for Tiffy's worried mum

Moyra - glad you and Amber enjoyed an early walk (Ozzy is having to settle for a "some time later, dear" walk ) Morning walks are always so refreshing, I think.

Loli - good luck with your lists - I'm worn out just reading what you have planned!

Autumn bliss - hope you had a successful day shopping yesterday (I loathe clothes shopping - and that is just for myself, let alone the family as well )

Well, I'm still surrounded by packing boxes (no where to put things) and still haven't drawn up a list of furniture I'd like and which will take priority I knew once the garden was fenced and tidy that I'd turn my attention to the house, but, I'm just not "feeling" it at the moment
I did take a trip out to look for window dressings, but I can't make up my mind just how I want to dress them and I'm surprised at how limited the choices are. Don't really want to spend much on them at this stage either because at some point, half the windows will need to be double glazed and the other half will need the double glazing updated/replaced and that may well alter what I think they need in terms of dressing Ah well, I'm sure it will all fall into place eventually - just not quite as fast as I would have liked

Lovely fresh morning here.

Pleased to report that Princess Tiffy is feeling much better and complaining that she's being offered bland vet food instead of her normal breakfast. Her temp is back to normal and so is her cheekiness . Thank you for all the good wishes.

Hope everyone gets everything done that they want to do and has a wonderful day.

 

Thank you Woo, and so pleased Penny is getting better too. It's impossible to get Tiffy to take tablets, especially antibiotics, so the vet gave her another injection this morning that will last for three days, by which time she hopefully won't need any further treatment.

 

Good afternoon everyone..Hope everyone is having a good day so far..Its finally stopped raining here..Looks like its gonna be a nice afternoon here now...The wife went out shopping this morning and came back home with paint and wallpaper..So looks like somebody is gonna be busy very soon.....She says its only the living room but we all know when we get started we land doing the whole friggin house lol..Enjoy the rest of your day peeps
