UP DATE ON GC SERVER PROBLEMS

    Just to let everyone know that the problems we are experiencing on the Forum with posts "lagging", slowness in response etc are due to a problem between our Server and the Data Centre . However, Nathan and Richard have it all in hand and GC will be "migrating" to a large machine in the very near future.
    So our apologies to everyone for the slowness in the data response and we are grateful for all the Gang's patience and if you can bear with us the problem will soon be solved.
    On a related subject.......although GC does not have a subscription fee, unlike many other sites, and all of Admin are unpaid volunteers, the Forum are really grateful to those who have voluntarily donated and those who will do so in the future. Every penny donated goes towards the cost of the use of the Server and hopefully improving the capability, reliability, of the Forum which in turn helps us all enjoy GC, gardening, the friendship and help that we all contribute to.

      @ARMANDII , I do hope that those involved in sorting this don't think we're ungrateful. It's just frustrating that's all. Having said that, there's nothing better than a good ol' whinge :biggrin:

                  We all know GC comes up trumps every time even if there is the odd hiccup on occasion:love30:...

                              settled on DD option as I'll forget to renew annually. Less than the cost of a packet of fags a month but hopefully will help and if I ever give up smoking I'll donate more :thumbsup: (ok, so I know that's not gonna happen but the thought's there)
