Misty start here but the sun is burning it off nicely and fingers crossed it'll be another gorgeous day.

Hope Shiney and Moyra are ok, not seen them for a few days.

Good morning all, hope everybody ok today - hope Moira is in less discomfort x Loli, thank you, the little minx was off out early today, I think she may be slightly embarrassed at the huge amount of fuss she caused yesterday. She certainly was quiet yesterday evening, but ate a hearty dinner and climbed the cat gym which is 7 feet tall, both actions not really consistent with being " run completely over" Or at the very least, it's not what I would choose to be doing if I had sustained such injuries! Hopefully it's going to be a reasonably sedate day in this house. Phil is busy building a remote control Jeep (he had to sell the real one when he became bed bound) so he's happily grumbling away in the corner and Baldrick is totally flat out so I'm gonna try and fit in with the mood of the day as I'm all wrung out! Thing I couldn't say about the other day is that i'm starting a 2 day trial on Wednesday to see if I can work as a gardener at a lovely Georgian house in Somerset

I've got a few days off now so I'm chomping at the bit to get cracking,don't know what to do first...

Good Morning all, spent 9 hours in A. and E until 3 am yesterday morning and they wanted to keep me in Acute Gout infection and UTI and suspected COPD. I pleaded with them to let me
home. Poor Amber had been on her own for all those hours. She went bananas when she saw me come through the door. I am going to have rest a lot so forgive me if I do not make much of an appearance I have to keep my legs up.

Oh Moyra how awful for you

Feet up is the way to go,try to keep them well elevated,I know it can be a little uncomfortable but put a pillow at the back of your knees it may help.I'm sure Amber will understand,she needs her 'mum' to be back to full strength so the sooner you rest and have time to recover the sooner you'll both be out and about again

Oh no Moyra Wishing you better soon. Do make sure you rest, Amber will cope if her routine is disturbed for a few days, and I'm sure Steve will step in and take her out before and after his work.

Fingers crossed all goes well with the trial Zigs. I'm sure you'll be perfect for the job.

It's dull and dreary here today but at least it's not raining. Think I'll have a wander round the garden centre in a bit.

Oh Moyra. I am very sorry to hear this. I'm not sure of your age, but just incase you do have to leave Amber for a day or two, have you tried The Cinnamon Trust? I think they help in such situations, but not 100% sure? I think you need to be over 60 and I apologise if this is not you.
