Woos Garden

I love watching your progress Woo...I can't wait to see it when the weather takes a turn and it's all in bloom

 

I was the same with Foxgloves Woo but as it turns out Archi and Theo don't touch them,has Penny got a habit of trying to munch on any plants? I also nearly had kittens about them when the chooks were pottering around before I knew how dangerous they can be but as luck would have it they were fine.You can imagine I nearly laid an egg myself when I noticed the 'girls' had demolished my Rhubarb which is said to be highly toxic ...I had a sleepless night expecting to find I had no chooks in the morning but thankfully there was no ill affects...they seem to be more resilient than we think but I fully understand not taking that chance

 

Speaking of wire, you will probably need to tie in the hollyhock flower spikes to your fence woo, mine were a bit floppy last year. The plants weren't too bad with rust so I've kept them for this year too. Planted some new ones in the other border, almost black variety called nigra.

 

Yours looks good Woo, I have small red shoots coming, you will be enjoying rhubarb crumble very soon!

I'd leave them as they are Woo and dot them around the garden,I did that with some Poplar Stumps I got a few years back you could also stand a planter on them to give more height in amongst other bits and bobs you have
