            As I understand it, the answer is basically not to eat any mushroom unless you are an expert or it came out of a packet. It's just not worth the risk.

              It's ok, i haven't eaten it, I just wanted to make sure of what it was :dbgrtmb:
              as it can be hard to tell, before it open up it looked like a nice button mushroom,

                  I've eaten a few things which have given me (the you know what's) but i wouldn't eat any mushroom i didn't know

                    Phew!

                    You are in good company with the you know whats. I was told a tale by an Oxbridge botany professor who tried to get high with his mates as an undergrad. They tried it with nutmeg, having read it was hallucinogenic. Which it might well be. The trouble was that were concentrating too much on the toilet for the next couple of days to notice any other effects.
