Cars and Bikes - Our Village Fete

We've been to our village fete today and, apart from all the other things, they have a car show that has about 300 cars there. They were very interesting and here's just a few of them.

The 2CV custom is a cracker too; shame in some ways that it has 2CV underpinnings.

 

The whole event was brilliant. Mrs Shiney was commenting on the condition and finish on lots of the cars there. They were obviously owned by people who loved them.

Many of them had some info explaining the history of the car and, surprisingly, quite a few were for sale!

They also had quite a few of the models that we used to own. Morris 8, Ford Anglia 105E (mine was the Super 123E, which wasn't on display ), Ford Popular 100E, Ford Escort GT, Ford Escort RS1600.

Nowadays I'm a sedate Volvo driver

 

There were some Morris Minors, a couple of them were blue, but I don't remember seeing any pickups. . There were hundreds of cars so I don't know.
