Hello from rainy England!

My name is Niki and I've got a heavy clay mud patch I'm slowly trying to turn into something beautiful.

I've had a love of plants and gardening since I was little, mostly through my grandma and the love she put into her gorgeous garden, but now I'm all grown up and it's time to venture forth with my own.

I've far more dreams and enthusiasm then knowledge, but everyone starts somewhere, right!

Anyway, it's nice to meet everyone and I hope to see you all around the forums

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Niki. You must be just over the water from me and close to a few other members. I think we should all consider bog gardening up here in the north and north-west at the moment, let's hope Spring brings us some better weather.

Oh but that's the most fun place to start!!

If you can, get pictures of what you like and make up a pin board of ideas. Every so often, weed out the ideas that no longer jump out at you and then look up the particular needs of any plants that you still hanker after. Eventually you will whittle it down and maybe start a project at a time and before you know it, there'll be no stopping you
