    Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Its been a day of broken cloud but only a few fleeting sunny spells, the wind is lighter but still cold, temperature slightly up on the last two days but not noticable with the lack of sunshine 6c.

    New England Aster Seed

They don't look that bad to me. As you have plenty I would sow some now with grit on top and leave them outside in a sheltered place and some more in the warm in April. What have you got to lose?

Suggestions for the Christmas present from hell as far as I’m concerned

They probably wont be doing much this time of year so I'd be careful with the soaking, just keep them barely moist and not near a heat source, possibly on a window sill until around mid march,...

I intend to grow less this year, but I am not very good at being restrained lol. Hungarian Hot Wax and Anaheim are the two I shall be growing this coming season.

Recommend a small-ish evergreen shrub that is nice to sit with

Rosemary is a good idea. It flowers, used in cooking, grows quickly and growing cuttings is easy. Tough plant as it grows up mountains in Greece.

What are we doing in the garden 2025

Both the Acers in question are red, can't remember if they are disectum or palmatum. Even if they are palmatum they are small leaves. As they are not in my garden and it's winter I can't check.

Supporting a plant in a plant pot container

Cut three or four appropriately sized sections off a bamboo cane and wedge them horizontally between the inner and outer pot. Should aid stability and allow humidity to rise.
