I've got a few similar, grown from seed back in the 80s when I was in my cactus growing phase, lost a few recently due to not repotting or not having enough space for them.

I have this book...probably similar to your book. My problem is my memory! Very often fern id involves the sori on the back. It is much easier when book and mystery fern are seen side my side.

I assume the advantage is no wiring and you can put it wherever you want. Does it work via a radio signal to your heating or is it working on WiFi.
