I am often puzzled by modern life.
And thank goodness they are. If we could hear them scream as we approached with secateurs or pulled up a "weed", it would be disconcerting.

@Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.
